Money knowledge you can actually use
Tenang Ledger runs clear, structured programmes that help young adults, families and workplaces in Malaysia read the numbers that matter — without jargon, without pressure.

What makes our approach different
Structured like a craft
Each programme has a clear pattern — defined sessions, defined topics, defined take-aways. Nothing is padded, nothing is missing.
Small groups, real attention
Workshop cohorts are kept deliberately small so facilitators can address the questions participants actually have, not just the ones on a standard slide deck.
Public data, not sales pitches
Content draws on publicly available figures and regulatory guidance. Participants leave with skills to compare options themselves, not a shortlist of products to buy.
Malaysian context throughout
Examples use ringgit, EPF, local bank products and cost-of-living data relevant to Klang Valley and beyond — not translated foreign curricula.
Tangible materials to keep
Every programme includes printed or downloadable resources participants can return to: workbooks, checklists and spreadsheet planners that stay useful long after the sessions end.
No financial product ties
Tenang Ledger does not sell, recommend or earn commission from any financial product. The only thing on offer is education.
Ready to get a clearer picture of your finances?
Whether you are an individual looking for a first step, a family planning ahead or an organisation thinking about staff wellbeing, there is a programme sized to fit your situation.
Frequently asked
Who are these programmes intended for?
The three programmes are designed for distinct groups: the online course suits individuals aged 18–30 who are new to managing their own money; the weekend workshop is for parents and caregivers planning for major costs; the workplace series is for organisations wanting to support their employees' financial understanding. Each has its own pace and scope.
Do I need any financial background to attend?
No prior knowledge is assumed. All three programmes start from first principles. Participants who already have some familiarity with budgeting or savings tend to find the deeper context and planning frameworks the most useful parts.
Are sessions held online or in person?
The Money Basics course runs entirely online on weekday evenings. The Family Planning workshop is held at our Kuala Lumpur premises over a weekend. The Workplace Series can be delivered at the employer's site in Klang Valley or online — whichever suits the organisation better.
How do I enrol or book a programme for my organisation?
Complete the enquiry form on this page or call +60 3-2276 6969 during office hours. A member of the team will confirm upcoming schedule dates, answer any questions and send you an enrolment confirmation with pre-session materials.
Will Tenang Ledger recommend specific banks or investment products?
No. All content is educational and uses publicly available data for illustration. Tenang Ledger does not sell, recommend or earn any commission from financial products. For decisions about specific products, participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial adviser registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia or Bank Negara Malaysia.
What are the fees and how is payment made?
The Money Basics course is RM 440 per participant. The Family Planning workshop is RM 1,900 per family. The Workplace Series is RM 4,400 per organisation. Payment details and invoices are provided after enrolment confirmation. Organisations requiring a purchase order process are welcome to contact us ahead of booking.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Tenang Ledger collects only the information needed to confirm enrolments and send programme materials. We do not share participant data with third parties for commercial purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
